It has been great to welcome back our wonderful children after the Easter break. All the staff are very excited about the summer term ahead and all the opportunities the children can look forward to! Staff and children have been working hard planning new topics and it has been incredible to see such enthusiasm towards learning during our first week back.

Ukrainian refugee fundraising

It gives us great pleasure to announce the grand total raised from our sponsored events and cake sale before Easter, which will be donated to the Red Cross Ukraine appeal! A massive thanks for all your support! Through the outstanding efforts of the whole school community we were able to raise the magnificent sum of :

Summer term after school clubs

Due to a lack of staff availability for school related reasons, we are delaying the start of our after school clubs this term. Clubs will begin on the following weeks and continue until the end of term unless told otherwise.

Years 1, 2 and 3 – Cwl Cymraeg and Creative Kids will commence the week beginning Monday 9th May.

Years 4, 5 and 6 – Sports clubs will commence the week beginning 16th May.

Forms will be sent out next week with details if you wish your child to attend.

Wednesday 4th May – Year 1 and 2 Singleton Park Trip

Monday 9th to Wednesday 11th May – Year 6 Residential (Margam)

Wednesday May 25th – Year 3 to 6 Fire Engine Visit

Friday June 24th – INSET DAY

Monday June 27th – INSET DAY

Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th June – Provisional dates for sports days.

Thursday July 7th – Provisional date for pupil/parent workshops.

We have other trips, visits and events planned for the summer term. We will let you know details as soon as we can!
