Friday October 24th

We've enjoyed a busy and exciting first half-term of the year. There has been a real buzz about the school as the children and staff have got stuck into the whole school 'Marvellous Me' topic. It has been wonderful to see and hear the school full of learning and laughter. A big thank you again to our families for your continued support as we continue to work together to make 'Our School' the very best possible for the children. Hopefully, everyone has had the chance to catch up with their child's teacher through 'meet the teacher' or ' parent meetings'. I've no doubt, through positive communication and by building on our partnership ethos, we can make this the best year yet for the children. Remember, if you have any concerns or ideas, don't hesitate in making contact.

A big shout out to our rugby and football teams for a great start to the school season. Our rugby team travelled to the Elba last week to take on Gowerton Primary School and put in a superb performance. Yesterday, our footballers visited the same venue to take on Gowerton and Crwys in a round robin. Again, they represented the school superbly and did themselves proud. There will be lots more sporting events to come!

We've ended the half-term in style! Firstly, our annual PTA 'Monster's Ball' was a huge success. A massive thanks, once again, to our incredible PTA for their efforts. The children are very lucky to have such a proactive team! School and PTA would like to thank all our families. Withouth your support, these events wouldn't be possible. Diolch pawb!

We ended today with a wonderful assembly, prepared and deliverd by Ms Williams' class. They taught us valuable lessons about our amazing village and the importance of living by the school values. Superb work Year 5/6!

A big thanks to those familes that made donations towards our Harvest Collection. All proceeds have been delivered to the local foodbank and received gratefully!
