The school Senedd initially looked at the three main school development priorities and made child friendly versions to display around the school. 

After creating these, the focus for Senedd changed to developing the library space. Waunarlwydd was part of the Libraries for Primaries scheme and so received 500 new books and library furniture. The Senedd ran Big Book Takeaways, where children from the whole school chose books to take home to add to their home collections. 

Once the new furniture arrived along with the books, Senedd organised the space to allow easy access for all children.
